Add Value

The value here is strictly what can be exchanged for cash. When we talk about adding value we are talking about the buy low, sell high mechanics. I am the values since I discovered the object.

Agape

The love that we can have if we decide to feel the importance of each other's presence and value. It is the precise love that we use to care for other people's children.

Apologies

Are actually quite easy. And they are easy to accept if we can put ourselves in the position of the person who is having a full anxiety attack about giving one. It's also easy to be sincere about apologies. Can you imagine how many things a person might be sorry about, including the circumstances that they are in?

Awareness

I've found that the burden of any knowledge is action. I place a particular value on self-knowledge. This has been my journey toward optimization. My awareness of me, helps me fine tune the me that I'm being.

Balance

I dislike balance, not a surprise to most. It's what people say when they want both things. I also feel that any two things not sufficiently similar would be measured in radically different ways. So real balance is very difficult because you'd have to balance a complex equation.

Coded Vernacular

Part of the subtle suite: Coded Vernacular, Parenthetical Redaction and Inverted Value. This trio are terms that I like to disambiguate. Sometimes a native tongue, sometimes a patois, we can exchange value in plain sight of others. The less obvious the better.

Compassion

I've sensed compassion as a normal feeling. My empathy, in a more limited way, and my compassion have become easy to access as a frequency or modulation that is deliberately slow and disinterested in solutions. This is the new definition of compassion. The slowness of compassion is much more allusive.

Conspiracy

There isn't a conspiracy if everything is configured in plain sight. Things are sometimes incredible and unbelievable.

Evolution

Whether you are a child or an adult you are evolving. If we embraced this we might allow our families and the dysfunction we experience with them to be less of a trap and more of a miscalculation of who thay are (being). Equally important is for you to advocate for the reimagining of your own evolutionary self. Re-synchonization might be necessary to change the dynamic. And of course you might be a part of a villan's origin story. You'll still have to figure out what to do with them.

Fear

The way that fear has historically worked for me is the death of one's imagination. The stress levels are so high that a person might become unable to imagine themselves out of a problem. Which goes a long way to explain why big imaginations are less present in serious social problems, wicked problems.

Flows

Flows can mean a lot. The flow I'm most interested in is what shows up when I have the right awareness of all the things that attend to the past, present, and future of my life simultaneously.

Freedom

The practice of freedom is a plural assault on neo-liberalism, if you let it. What I mean by this is that the moment that your pursuit is not concerned with your own power and authority is when our freedom work begins together. We might as well get each other's backs.

(The) Futures

There is a greater probability that the future is also asymmetrical. If we imagine this more often, we might get to a future which is less frustrating and worth pursuing.

(The) Game

The hustle, the struggle, the grind, the JAY, OH, BEE. It's all real. Sometimes called the trap.

Hero

A person who despite their fear—does the difficult thing.

Intersectional

We understand the fates of many people as being connected. I use intersectional as an umbrella term for the kind of plural identities we sense alignment with. We have been taught that there is only one movement called the Freedom movement.

Monsters

I think monsters are big. So when I say that was "monsters," I mean that was huge. Maybe scary, maybe not, but always big or a big deal or big ass deal. There is also the monster that you are, love, or agree with.

Non-Binary

The non-binary defies definitions, complex and mysterious—like love and fear—the evolution of the non-binary notion is a hope that people will accept each other in their ranges of emotions and of course is most useful when we talk about gender. While it's perfectly fine to think of our sense of gender as evoloving it is also true that we can all be non-binary. Our definition of gender is what is evolving not people. How we talk about gender is changing. Not our reality. Trans people are non-binary. Cis people can be non-binary. I am non-binary largely because I see the need for the way we are trained to encounter each other to change. But also I am a non-binary queer person who shows up as a male. So there.

Plural

Exactly more things simultaneously. When in doubt, more. It's useful when we think of intersectionality and why identity politics is too narrow a concept to hold the requirement for allyship. Plural is unwavering. All other things need to get behind it.

Pop (Music)

Pop means popular. I swear I never ever mean anything by it. It is still true that I say, "I want to be a fan of thing that needs me as a fan." I think it's just part of me not wanting everything to be consistent or even good. I just like the weird stuff.

Production

This is the value of the human body in labor. I'm not sure if the task is important anymore, but it used to be a industrial calculation where labor, machines, and scale all collaborated to make a PRODUCT. Becuase we are not slaves the domain of or labor is voluntary, and becuase ther are no real industrial secrets we also dreaming of controling armies of machines and people to perform our priorities. It's very messy. Labor and production is a tye of value for sure.

Resources

We don't always mean money. But sometimes we do. We do mean "the thing that can move freely between people." Any resources that are gatekept or stolen or otherwise held out of reach change what people can imagine doing together.

S.A.P.

The best we get is automatic inking. But when we move into S.A.P. mode it is all about that simulated automatic flow. One person is actively doing the racking and quality control and the other is inking and cranking. One print every 12 seconds on average.

Sharing

Here I know that there are platforms that allow us to share 'content' this is not what I mean. I'm thinking about connection. Awareness of your resources will allow you to see what you have as sharable.

THE TRAP

The trap is when we are found stagnant, still, and STUCK in a behaviours or motivated actions that don't represent who we are as free people. The trap is where ther cheese is. The power that we don't want but need to survive. We are just trying not to get hurt. People in traps are dangerous to others because they don't have an awareness of other people's experience, pain, loss, of suffering.

Untrustworthy

Never lie to anyone younger than you. It breeds deceit and will make lairs of all of us. Period.

A person who knows better. And yet.
